The illustrations of Fernando Vicente represent the innocence of some of his characters, the essence of color.
The first book that illustrates Fernando is Peter Pan by J M Barrie.
Others like Momo, by Michael Ende are a delight and like all his works it is full of learning and morals. Or “What the mice eat” a project with Fernando Royuela “Delicious”.
The little hoplita, by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.
This is the first book that I have illustrated by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It is the classic story of Herodotus that tells the heroic fight of the 300 Spartans against the Persians told to children. When I illustrated it, my children were small and had a great time asking me for more battles here and there.
