Spanish literature playing cards that the Madrid illustrator Fernando Vicente has created for the Autumn Fair of Old and Antique Books in 2023. In it we can find great writers such as Elena Fortún, Emilia Pardo Bazán or María Moliner. And writers such as Miguel Delibes, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer or Juan Ramón Jiménez.
This is a typical French deck of cards, for playing poker or continental poker, each of the cards has a drawing of some of the essential authors of Spanish literature. Thus, you could make a trio of queens, for example, with Rosalía de Castro, Carmen Laforet and María Zambrano.
The good thing is that the deck features 52 different writers, and the 52 images are fantastic. You can see them below.
